That sure reminds me of when I reworked the front of my Bus. But that is the way to do it to minimize the bondo that you will put on it. :D

Here is some work that has been done the last couple of months. Cut one tub out. Going to do a beam raise. Still have the other side to cut out still.
Image

Got some metal from Mano and bent it to fit. Going to weld this in as well as a plate over that to box in the frame. Going to section the frame as soon as this is done. Going to use the same bolt holes, so a new side plate is going to be needed. Both sides are bent, and ready to go

Thats it for now. Have to move the bus over enough to get the door open to cut out the other tub. Then drop all the suspension stuff out. Like I said, progress is really slow on this.

Did a little work on the bus this weekend as well. Was able to drop out the steering box, loosen up all the tie rods, disconnect the ebrakes and clutch cables, and take out the master cylinder. I also marked the spot welds for the other tub and center punched them. Ran out of time to drill them out. Should have that done in a month with my upcomeing sched. :x

Progress still pretty slow. Remembered to bring the camera and take some pics of what has been done, and a few fun pics :hillbilly:
