I bought this off a guy in Arlington, Texas. It turned out to be a little diamond in the rough. Hardly any rust. The interior is all original and in great shape.

Funny little story....

So I was working on my 74 a couple of days ago. I was trying to troubleshoot the fresh air blower that wasnt working and had not since I bought the car. So I took the cover off under the hood and found a bunch of leaves and junk crammed up under there. I thought to myself "Man this looks like a rats nest in here" No wonder the motor wasnt working. So I busted out the ol trusty 1 gallon Shop Vac and proceeded to vacuum out all the crap. At one point my shop vac lost suction and I looked back at it and it was smoking profusely. before I had a chance to shut it off, It died (or a breaker tripped). So i decided to take it apart to see what had happened to it. As I was taking the dust trap off of it it suddenly popped apart and a small field mouse came tumbling out of it! it landed a few feet away on its feet and looked like his head was spinning because for about 30 seconds we stared at each other in disbelief. I guess I would be loopy too if I had taken a ride in a shop vac. Then I decided I should try to smash it for being in my bug. (I thought he was the source of my rats nest blower compartment). I threw something or other at him but he got away. Upon further inspection of my shop vac I discovered that this little mouse had been living in my vacuum not my bug. He had totally destroyed the dust bag and all the filters and stuff inside, which got all up in the motor and ultimately caused the demise of the vac. So long story short, the air blower in the bug ended up being locked up, and I lost one shop vac. I did end up catching the little beggar in a sticky trap yesterday...
