you may have already answered this but, are you driving the oval or pulling it?

Unfortunately I'll be towing her, there is still the issue with the tranny on long trips.

Drove her around a few miles tonight, felt good to drive it again after a couple month hiatus. Nothing like a fresh carb rebuild and tune to make a motor purr... or growl in my case, lol.

lol, no. I drive through a pretty poor part of town on the way to work now... Not like when we were in the apartment, there were rich boys all over the place who thought their shit was fast...

Okay, here's one for you Bo. On the way in to work this morning some guy in a Mazda 3 (one of the sporty looking editions) was kind of cutting in and out of traffic like he was in a real hotrod. I caught him at the light and when it changed he took off pretty hard, so I nailed my shit. by the time I shifted out of first and was on it for a a couple more seconds I was so far a head of him I just let off, lol. Dumb ass probably didn't even know what hit him. I usually don't bother with anything with less than ~300 hp or so, but this guy was asking for it, lol.

BTW, I'm getting ~19 MPG daily driving my bug in stop and go traffic with frequent romps on the loud pedal. Not bad for a car that can destroy almost anything it comes across :dance:
