Last year was good for us, oil @ 140 was nice. This years not looking so good, but I think it's going to turn around.

We are having a baby, my wife made me sell my boat. So I have alittle to put in to the car.

Thanks. I'm trying to get as much done before hand because I know it will be more difficult to find the time after. Fingers crossed it will be a boy, I could use a extra pair of hands in the garage. My wife jokes it's either going to be a boy or a lesbian.

if you haven't done so, look on Pirate4x4. There is a great article on how to build role cages on there. The instructions fro the JD2 comes with are way more complicated than is needed. There is also some cool software to help you lay it all out, called bend tech.

Whew, its been a long weekend. I did alot of work but didn't get alot accomplished. Theres always stupid little things that slow down progress. Like broken off bolts that need to be drilled out and retapped.

Body and Pan meet again. This time to build the cage. The tubing should be here wednesday. So i'll get started on the seat mounts first. If anyone has the February 2008 issue of HotVws , I'm going to mount the seats similar to Shawn Geers 63. Tubes run from heater channel to tunnel.

Pan and Body, a match made in heaven.

Instead of mounting the tubing bender to the garage floor. I opted for the trailer hitch mount. I'm not sure how this is going to workout yet.
