Yeah, not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things I guess. I sure would have liked to fire that sucker off last night, but oh well, it was not to be. Hopefully my stars will be aligned tomorrow, lol.

Good thing I was their to show him how to build oil pressure and reinstall fittings. I heard they are handing out Ph.D's these days :? :D Glad that bitch fired tonight. My suit smells of 2litre....

Thanks for the help guys, it sure was nice to hear that sucker run!
I don't know what I was thinking about building oil pressure w/o the pushrods installed, I guess I was confused about filling the oil system lines vs building pressure. It was defintaely a good thing though to crank it w/o the push rods in to fill the filter, cooler, and lines, once we fired her off she had oil pressure instantly! I'm sure it would have been oil starved for at least 10-15 seconds if I hadn't filled all the lines first the way I did. So other than some un-due stress over not building oil pressure (when the PR's were out) it was all good.
Thanks again for your help guys. Now I just need to chase down a few oil leaks (damn oil), adjust the carbs and ignition, and then go for a test drive! :mrgreen:
