maybe a dumb question but why is the foose bus somewhat contriversial?

A lot of people didn't like it for "purist" reasons mostly. Like the "Volkswagen" script in place of the big "VW" symbol on the nose, the location of the Delux trim, the front turnsignal choice and location, etc.

Yeah, but there are a lot of purists out there. And it is a rare bus. I personally don't like it, but not necessarily for purist reasons, just because I think the changes he made detract from the look

its not for me either but it is still one fine bus...i would take it...change it back and roll it

I think they added a extra window in t he roof line too.
