I've wanted a project for a few years now, but never found the perfect one. I wouldn't say that this bus was exactly what I wanted, but for the time it fits the bill. Thanks to Billy, James, and Ryan W. we have managed to give her a tune up and get the carb working. (You guys taught me so much THANK YOU and I am open to any more knowledge you want to throw my way!)

The bus is a 1970 Camper. I found it on Craig's List. It was located in Pasadena. From what the owner told me it was in Nevada on the Cali/Neva line up until last year. Once it got to Houston they rebulit the motor then stuck it in storage and forgot about it. (I really doubt the motor was rebuilt)

Now that it's running the brakes are in need of an overhaul, but I'm thinking today I'm going to bleed the line to buy some time where I can enjoy her for a while and start on the inside. I also want to lower her in the next few days, but not real sure what the best way to do that is. *Any suggestions?* I've oredered new rocker panels and I'm lookin at colors for the paint * Any names and numbers for paint and body work?*

Hey Julie, nice bus! It's a great start.

For lowering the bus, it's basically the same as a beetle unless you want to slam it, then it gets a little different. As for paint, whatever you want (exept pink, we reserve that color for Doug w:pw )
