Wow, tough day!.

The reason the Texas classic went to peoples choice was:

1) It was hard to find that many people to volunteer to be judges.

2) Steve is trying to make everything run smoother and faster.

3) I realize there were a lot of problems with the awards presentation, I have been told that those problems will be addressed for next years.

I realize some have put a lot of work into there v.w.s. And recognition is always nice.
I love the Texas Classic, even though I don't get to see much of the show. I volunteer to help the best way I know how, which is make the announcements and stuff. Please feel free to volunteer sometime. We could use the help. Enjoy the weekend! Enjoy your Vee Dubs! Don't worry if you, or who, won.

If the DLK ever has a show, I will volunteer my time to helping ya'll out.

I think it was "official spokesperson"...

Each show has a different judging format and, beyond that, people have extremely varied opinions on how a classic VW should look. People also tend to overlook past winners. I agree with the contention that these shows are great to get together, see new cars, and have fun!

im not bitching about the classic in any way...it would be almost imposible for judges to look at that many cars...
