Having worn out inner bushings allowed the control arm to move inside the beam. With the weight of the car riding on the air bags it puts allot of pressure on the control arms. There isn't any bushings available for T3 beams except some Delron prototypes from ISP. This along with no available dropped spindles. I'm going to machine a new bushing for now, and Chuck brought me another control arm.(Thanks!!) So I should be back together soon.

After this I'm planning to build a control arm front end similar to this...

That way I don't have to worry about T3 parts anymore, and it will be stronger and more dependable.

Sorry to hear about the pot hole damage Eric. Looks like you have a nice plan to get away from type 3 parts availability though  .

Ouch, that doesnt look like it was fun at all. That is a cool design, could something like that work for a type 1?

sorry to see that happen eric. that is one of the reasons i have been strongly considering doing a type 1 beam, since everything is readily available for them. an a-arm suspension would be nice!

I'm ready, It's back together. Thanks for the offer to find parts. Later I'll start building the control arm front end.
