Thanks Wayne......3" narrowed with drop spindles. I think the offset on the BRM's pushes the wheels out a tad more than smoothies or maybe some other rim.

Ben its a big improvement... Its come along way in a years time. BRM's have a pushed out offset. Plus many dropped spindles push out the wheels an inch per side. Thats the og reason for narrowed beams. To suck wheels back in under the fenders. I think my beam will be 4inchs with a negative offset wheel. Tuckage my friend... :hillbilly:

Hey ben the car looks good.have you set the adjusters on the beam "opposite" each other? I've found on mine by doing so I get a much smoother ride. It somewhat works with the way the beam works in the first place. We need to get the cars together again soon... Bahama club

Thanks Barkeep! Kostya still has the car down in Pearland, putting the finishing touchs on it so I have not had a chance to see how it rides. I will keep your suggestion in mind if there is a problem. I was down your way last week with my 56 (Saturday night at the old Fiesta on Nasa 1). You need to head north one of these weekends and we can set the bahama blues up side by side!

Thanks for posting the pictures Chuck. Low & fast in an air-cooled VW is definitely culture shock for me :wow: . Rubbed the street a few times leaving Joe's house. I will have to keep an eye open for rough roads. I have a few issues that I am going to have to work through but overall am very pleased with the transition.

Thank you very much to Kostya and family, along with everyone else who helped lower the 66 and add the 1835 engine. Oh, and also kudos to Eric on the fantastic job of fixing & matching the paint on the fender. It is great to have a man with your skills in dLk.
