the 40 hp i was building needed a lot of money spent on it...new pistons and cylenders and head work..so i went another route...sorry danny but i needed the 1641

jus messin with ya. you gotta 40hp air cleaner by chance? bout the only thing missing on our vert.

plus your gonna need the extra oomph if you are ditchin the reduction boxes.

i have an air cleaner danny im unsure if its a 40 hp ill even grab the one that was on the 40 hp and you can look at it..if its the one you need you are more than welcome to it

dont want to steal your only one. i would really like to do some old speed type of setup on this car with the 40hp. a judson or something similar would be sweet. gabe suggested dual 28s and a fram kit. that would be much cheaper i am sure :lol:

here are some updated pics...not much more done...put the three inch narrowed beam put together with new link pins and put back in the bus...the due with the hat on the back is a bottle opener i found in greune tx while on vacation..and i recovered my passenger seat with two old work shirts i had.. brad hooked me up with a type 1 tranny and with some of the axle parts from jeremy's switch back to short axles we will convert to type 1 rear end..soon..check out the carb set up...holly old school speed thanks to brad
