Very excited-- at 43, drove my first bug on 7/27! An autostick so it wasn't too bad for someone who doesn't drive stick. Just about better than sex!! Now I have to go buy a bug so I can do it everyday!!

My name is Larry,I live south of Dallas.I`ve been into VW`s and HotRod`s all my life. I`ve had everything from a 34 Ford to a 47 VW.I have several VW projects , some I`ll finish and some I won`t.I also have a 70 Nova SS with a L-88 427, 4 speed. So I`m always torn between VW`s and Hot Rods.I`ve been to every Bug Inn in the Dallas ,Ennis ,Green Valley.and most shows in Texas.I hope to meet most of you guys some day to put a face with a car. I`ve restored several VW`s through the years ,mostly for other people.Maybe with my experience I can help others with some of their problems.
