I hear ya. I've got an interview tomorrow morning at XL Parts at 290/BW8, so I'm hoping I get it. I've been out of work since March and I'm going crazy.

I was out of work from July/2002 to September/2003.....I know the feeling. Best of luck tomorrow.

It was like Christmas today from the UPS truck. I got my lowered swaybar w/ S.S. clamps in today from San Antonio and ONE correct "smoked" tail lights. They sent me two different ones this time, but the first order they sent me the clear ones. I'll get the correct one in next week

How much clearance is there between the mufflers and the ground? Pics?

Well I've been busy working on the car since no luck on a job yet. :(

The other night I finally finished the brakes. So everything has been replaced even added braided brake hoses.  Also got the frt sway bar and KYB shocks on. I'm going to add a rear sway bar on when I get some more money in. Oh finally got the right taillight in last week now I've got a matching set. LOL!! Well off to figure out the wiring on the car.

Hadn't measured it b/c there still lots of clearanced and my alum. floor jacks can go under it. Right now the car is on the stands so I can measure it right now.

Here's a couple of pictures ( that I had already posted ). Now it doesn't have air lines hooked up to the shocks and there is also heavy speaker box in the back. It sets just right. I'm thinking about taking the air shocks off and put a set of KYB Gas-Adjust shocks on. If you like you or anyone else are more than welcome to come over and check out the the car.

Mer,

It looks like to have decent clearance under the mufflers. I only ask because I once had a 69 bug and I put dual QPs on and I scraped everywhere. My current 69, I would like to put on a single QP, but worried about scraping.

Now about the rear shocks, are the KYB Gas Adjusts a stiffer shock? My rears are soft will need to replaced.

Thanks in advance and the car looks great!

If you were scarping with dual your still going to do it with singles. Been there done that....

Right now I've got air shocks on the rear. The KYB Gas Adjust are firmer If your interested I'm selling my air shocks. Shoot me a PM
