Contras on the bus Brad, I owe you a few work days on that thing. Can't wait to see it in person.

Change those damn wheels asap!

Yes...the wheels are not much to my liking. especially the tires. they make it too damn tall. If i can find a stock set I'll roll that.

I'm thinkin about pulling the engine on Sunday, if anyone wants to help. Gotta get it out and the heads shipped soon if i'm gonna make the Transporters show in October.

Got my engine out today. At first I was gonna attempt to pull the heads with the engine in but after I pulled the engine I knew that would have been a PITA. Anyhoo...A quick look at the heads and i confirmed the bad valve seat on #2 intake. The #2 combustion chamber was nice and clean compared to the other three. Im gonna ship the heads back to the PO sometime this week and do some other things while the engine is out.

I know the pic sucks but it's all I had, you gotta get a rack like this:

Full length custom rack on my old 75 transporter, it rocked. I think we could fit a double mattress perfectly up there! We would chill out with a few people up there in the back yard on nice nights.
