The So-Cal Vintage Treffen was a show we have been wanting to do for quite some time now. After visiting events in Germany like Bad Camberg and Hessisch Oldendorf, we wanted to bring an old German atmosphere together with strictly Vintage Volkswagens. The Phoenix Club in Anaheim, California is a true "old school" German Cultural Club, as well as the perfect host for an event like this. The So Cal Vintage Treffen is limited to 1957 and earlier Beetles and "Press Bumper" Busses, 1959 and earlier Karmann Ghias, Military Vehicles and early coachbuilts. Our first event held in September 2007 turned out to be a big success, and the plan is to hold it every other year opposite the Solvang Vintage Meet put on by the Golden Gate Chapter of the VVWCA.

I am going to try to go, sounds like a pretty bad ass little show. It's limited to 200 cars, and registration is a hundred bux, but what the hell! It only happens every two years. If anyone wants to plan a last-minute trip they can stay at our place.
I'll be sure to take lots of pictures

I went to this show 2 yrs ago. They had some very beautiful vintage cars there. Two D&S cars, a bent window preA porsche, Jesse James Rollback roof car, a Matador, and a ton of other equally impressive cars. You will have a great time at the show.

went to the open house at Lenny Copp's shop. it was a pretty small gathering, but there were some really nice car there (well, duh). Some of the cars I missed because Meredith and I were too busy talking to "Hot Dog Fred," but I'm sure they will be at the show on Sunday. I'll make sure to do less talking and more picture taking on sunday
Anyway, here's what I got
