Thanks for the scraping info. I figured I would be. I will probably go with a hideaway.

As far as the shocks go, I will also probably go with the KYB option.

Little update: Got the wiring finish last week and now just can't get in high gear to finish the brakes. I got the new master cylinder on the car the other night and now need to bled them. Once I finish that I can get it off the stands then I don't have much more to go.. Just adjust the valves, tune-up and redo the rear shocks then I'm done!! But I've just slowing down so much that I don't want to finish it now. I thinks its b/c I hadn't found a job yet and I'm under alot of pressure with all the stuff going on right now $$$$$.... :(

Finished the brakes the other night. Now I'm wanting on my Kadrons to come in this week, so that I can get them put on and finish up on the tune-up. But this morning I got the rear inner fender wells marks and few days taking it over to the body shop to have them use the plasma cutter, so I can put in rear alum panels that I can take off to the rear spark plugs and adjust the carbs. I'll post pictures when its done.

I don't have much more for it to be on the road its just little odds and ends. Just need to finish the car so I can start on the winter project which is a '56 oval choptop. Don't worry its not street legal!

Today I just couldn't wait plus saved some money just doing it myself, so I got the side panels cut out in the rear fenderwells for the dual carbs. Now just need to get the bolts welded to the body.

Also finished up the fuel system this morning too. Got the Fuel pressure reg. and gauge mounted on the fan shroud.

Should be on the road in a couple of weeks.

I got a SCAT linkage put for the Kdog's. I kinda didn't go with what the SCAT instructions said to do. I did some mods to the throttle arms and fab up a tab for the return spring

Here's pictures of the motor.

Added a rain tray as well

Today I went around the block in the car for the first time! Next on the list breather box, tags, sticker and insurance!

Oh the car is FOR SALE or trade for a nice type 3
