yup, Zwitters were the "transition" from Splits to Ovals, they were made for about half a year or so starting in late 52 and going into the spring of 53 (something like that). They introduced the "oval" dash and some other oval features but retained the split rear window. One of my favorite VW's, cause I really love the split rear window but am not a big fan of the split dash... love the oval dash though
