Well I got the Autometer tach installed yesterday before my health took a turn for the worse.... Ill try to get some pics up today if I can.. It actually looks pretty good in there IMHO. Now I have to find a place for my papers because of the gauges taking up all of the glove box... I reran all of my gauge wires through the body which wasn't too bad since I used an existing cable as a pull string.. I went ahead and pulled an extra cable for future use since while I was there. More to come so stay tuned...

Interior panels look good. Hopefully I'll have some soon. That bug is sweet!

Put the panels back in and keep your papers in the pocket.

Hey guys just a little update. It seems like as soon as things are going good with my bug something else pops up.. You gotta love VW's. Well I noticed my tranny having issues going into gear even though I have full travel on the clutch pedal and full rotation on the tranny clutch shaft.. I think the fork is worn most likely starting to bend. I pulled out my spec sheet for the my motor and buddy some how gave me a 2800lb pp so that kinda explains alot. So I need to pick one up pull the motor and swap her out.. On a good note my beam will be here on thursday. Well It looks like I have a good amount of work to do before the classic. Ill keep you guys posted...

Man, I thought that clutch pedal felt stiff!
You're lucky you didn't tear out all the clutch tube welds in the tunnel!
