whats up with the jointed steering column? Is that a requirement when narrowing the beam?

Not a requirement when narrowing the beam but they are needed when running a rack and pinion steering system. :thumbs:

I thought about buying this car but its going to take truck loads of money to get it back on the road. Just the wood bows and canvas for the top would run you almost 2 grand. Not to mention about 800 bucks for all the seals around the top. Then a pad kit for the top, a head liner and the list goes on and on and on.
