We went to Brazos Bend State Park in Needville/Damon area. We just camped Saturday night and it was awesome. I bought a little space heater and put it in between the front seats and it was nice and toasty warm all night.

Last time I was there it got dark on me and I got lost trying to make it home it was a long night with no map and no clue

What space heater did you use, I'm looking into them but don't want to die of some crazy fumes or anything

I bought a little ceramic heater from the hardware store down the road. It just sucks in air, heats it and spits it out. You shouldnt have any problems with fumes unless your using natural gas...=)

Yesterday Kostya worked some magic on my carbs. (Thanks!) Did some richening and what not. The bus drove great on the way home from Ethans. Today I loved on it a little. Got the oil changed, changed the filter using one of those K&N oil filters (probly wont notice a difference, just felt like paying top dollar for a filter today), fixed a few oil seeps and finished hooking up and adjusting the thermostat. It works now. =)

Sweet. that sounds good Evan. I'm actually off that day. The wife will be working so I'll be there. I got a CHT gauge I may try to get installed.

Oh if you find that samba thread send me the link.

So, ive been working on getting my CHT gauge installed for the last few days. I thought I was going to be able to take the lazy way out without notching the head but I figured id better do it right.

I got it all hooked up and it seems to be reading fine. I'm gonna button everything back up and do some tests and post more pics and technical info later...
