Oh I see. We just want to do a low-cost rebuild for now. Planning on building a 1915 later on down the road.

We're hoping to get all the machine work done this week, and put everything back together next weekend.

Nice! I'm about to do the same on my spare motor. If you are gonna buy new P&C's get the 87mm slip ins. they are worth it. What parts are you replacing? Just the bearings? You gonna put a cam in there as well?

For now we are going to re-use everything we can, just hone and re-ring the P&C's.
We will be replacing all bearings, seals, gaskets, etc, having the crank turned, and an align bore on the case.
I'm personally not a big fan of the slip in 87's, you give up cylinder wall thickness for a 3% increase in displacement. On a 50-60 hp motor that may get you about 1.5 more hp...

Looks like a lot of good help standing around. Should have that done in no time.
