Other than that, not much new. Just been touching up a few spots that looked a little rough for my taste. Been grinding a lot. Almost ready to get going on the ragtop.

Ok, this is small stuff, but it needed to be done. Here are the rails that Eric sent me that now have the little slots cut in:

Here the holes are punched to plug weld them in:

And here they are welded in:

This is now looking stock on top:

Just have to grind the plug welds smooth, along with a few other welds and then I should be ready for some measuering of the roof for the big cut.

Thanks guys. Finished grinding the welds for the ragtop today. I was planning on cutting in the ragtop next. The problem is that I have two dents on each side of the roof from where the previous owner used blocks under the tie downs. I think that I will pound those out first so I dont create potential problems when I fit the ragtop graft. Pics to come soon. I am still trying to fill in this pesky hole on my firewall that I keep chaseing

The PO really fubared the right side when they tied down the body. It really doesnt show it well, but the dent goes into the door frame. So I did the best I could to pound them out and line things up. Looks good to me, but no perfect by anymeans.

There is a kink in the metal on the drip channel that I will have to file out when I start doing the body work.
