My brother and I have had the bug for just over 2 years.

Have Brian make you a list and start searching the Samba. There's TONS of deals on the Samba in So Cal.

yea sounds really good, i will have brian help me get a list of recommended parts I should get started with. Just getting a good crank should help out alot. :P I will probably start that project as soon as I get off the good feeling of the kadrons. What are you running in your car Kostya?

A 2109cc (76x94mm) with 44 IDFs. Grab that 84mm crank from Brian and don't look back! That way you won't have to upgrade later.

It would be a lot of trouble to use stock pistons with that big of a crank, you would have to put spacers under the cylinders that would be like .4" thick! If you're going to run a big crank you want to go with a minimum of 90.5 mm cylinders. we can talk about it this weekend ;)

Makes sense with the stroker crank. I was looking a cyllinders and they seem to be all around the same price. I was assuming the price would go up with the bore size. Start big, end up bigger.

I can get a pair for 200 off one of my teachers whenever he gets them in stock. Hes has a toyota prerunner he races in the baja 1000. He has sponserships gallor. I would like to upgrade them in the future. They would be really nice in your car since you take it to work everyday.

I want to keep my interior stock looking for now though. But who knows, maybe some day I will turn it into a German Looker and put in some sporty seats! ;)
