I'd definitely get rid of the FPR with the dial on it. I ran it for a while and it SUCKED! It would completely shut off the flow of gas every once in a while, and the pressure on the dial is nowhere near the actual pressure.

Remember that Brian?

yeah, I know, I remember, lol. I told him to get one of those so he could get it going quickly and then buy a nicer one later.

Yea my reg is on 5 bls and seems to be working good. I drove it around for a couple of hours today. I bought a cheapy until I could be certain that everything could work out. I plan on getting something new. Do you have any recommendations?

That's cool. I have the same thing Brian has on his, just a regular Holley regulator. You'll just have to get a gauge with it.

Summit Racing has their version of the Holly regulator (I'm sure it is the same thing) for like 24 bux. The Holly is like 27. Then a gauge is another 15 or so. I may have a spare gauge around here somewhere you can have, that would save you some money. I'll look for it next time I'm out in the garage. I think I gave Kostya his gauge too, lol. I should have most of the brass fittings you would need too. Then the only thing you would need to buy would be the regulator itself.

Put on some new cv boots. Those clamps are really hard to put on with oily fingers :wow:
