Curious when you do the body work on for the dogleg b-pillar area, do you have filler in the gap, then recreate the edge in the filler?

The reason for my questions is...I just replaced the B-pillar on the drivers side. I had to make a small section with the brake and the radius isn't tight enough. I'm not sure if I should build the edge up with the tig and grind it, or tig the seam and use filler.

To get the lines right you'll have to use filler and creative sanding techniques. If the gaps aren't tight enough you should do like you said and weld in metal. If its just the radius of the bend, filler will be fine. Gerson's metal is thicker than OG, so we ran into similar stuff on some of the patch panels.

Yeah almost  I had fun, cool hanging out with you. Its been awhile since I've been in the water, hopefully more swell throughout the week. I'm going to hit it as much as I can. It's a nice break from work. I'll be in touch
