Those 356 motors don't make much power and are $$$$$$$ to build.

But they have a really big COOL factor going for them!

It was a 1965 356 sc. The interior was absolutely beautifull. Pale yellow with a deep green interior was great. You guys need to try and make it next month, we were missing mike and Omar and my bus so there is usually around 5-8 vw and assorted new porsches and the occasional vintage Ferrari or viper acr, let show em how many dubs we can bring out

I'm going to try to make it, I need to find the time to change my clutch. Here's some pictures of that 356 from the SCC show. It's nice

A few of us have been talking about doing this for awhile and we seem to have finally found a place to do it. The owner of Paradise Coffee is a Porsche and VW enthusiast so we thought we'd start our own coffee and cars style GTG there. I'm told the Porsche Club is meeting there too.

So, here the details:

Second Saturdays, 8 am
Paradise Coffee
1606 Clear Lake City Blvd
Houston, TX 77062
(281) 990-9001

I'll be there around 9, I live 10 min down the street. Don't think any Porsche guys will be there as the friend of mine who owns the shop is going through a changing of hands of sorts. He has a few porsches and coordinated that end so not sure where that stands. Omar said he's out but I'll stop at his house on the way. Mike might make it as well.

Next one is 8/14. Same place, different name: Cellar Wine Bar (that's Wine, not Whine...). Supposedly, they are continuing coffee service too. I doubt I'll be there (Scout campout) but have fun with out me.

From last month:

Evan's:

Eric's (that engine looks and sounds great!):
