Ok...easy with me. I am new at this front lowering stuff and whole other ACVW things for that matter.
I love the tucked-in look and able to drive it on Hwy and country roads alike (to and from work basically). I saw the look of the Smart car tires on Eliot's 62 Yellow Vert and i do like them as well.
This is what i have: A a 4" narrowed/lowered beam from airkewld (already on hand)
Car: 63 T1 sedan. Currently with just a lowering beam.
Rims: 5.5 BRM
Tires: 145s
Spindles: 2.5 already on hand and not installed
With this and other info I have gather, what I should look for if I install them?
-Tire rubs on headlight bucket if spindles are not installed and lowered too much.
-Lack of road grip as with 135s
-Some fender rub if 135's are used lowered too much
- 145s WILL definitely weather bottom-out or not
Have I missed anything? or what is the safest front end combo that have worked for you that included Hwy driving? I still want the tucked in and lowered look. I know I can have it both ways…can I?
