Didn't get a chance to mess with the shifter today, but I tried to mess with the alternator but there's way too much movement in the shaft. I'm pretty sure the plate in which the rear bushing spins is shot. Does anybody have any spare/broken alternators laying around?

I may have an extra alt. nut and washers, if you need them. Let me check though....

So help me figure this out. Grinding when going into reverse, and hard to get into second, and especially first. I jacked the car up and the wheels would turn with the clutch pushed in.

By "adjusting" it to every position I could. Didn't help at all.
