A '63 got the best split and oval at the awards presentation?????? Did you ever get that straightened out Elliot? Best car there next to Elliot,s '55 was a grey '57 that was way up the hill neally to the entrance. I don,t think too many people noticed it because it was not in the lime-light like most of the best cars It was a big motor car with a Berg-5 ( which sets it apart for me ) and real Alloys and was built as a " real driver car ". Hot VW,s will do a feature on this car. It got 3rd????? in class. Just my opinions though. have a few photos of the car but can,t figure out how to post

Yeah, I got it straightened out... My car was # 209 and the 9 looked like a 4... The 63 was # 204. They apologized and said I had enough mugs.. The 57 was nice but so is Anthony's 55... The 55 has a little more detail and that's probably why they placed it 2nd??

Congrats on the wins, Eliot. We figured it was a "9" that looked like a "4".

Good to see all of you DLK folks. Good show for sure. Would've like to have did a little hangin' with you guys, but it seemed like the weekend flew by.

Anthony's 2nd place in the oval/split class was well deserved.... he rolled the green '55 with me on the 600+ mile road trip from OkC to Eureka and back.... and we didn't always obey the posted speed limits

It's an all-around badass car for sure.

Good to hear from you Scotty. I didn't make the show... I looked in the pics for your Dc .... I must have old eyes . I couldn't see it ..
