I am not sure of the exact time. It took me less than an hour tonight to coat it once more. But I worked days on it before cleaning it, welding in new pan halves, and por-15 and undercoated the underside. If you look back in this thread you will see pic's of all that.

the oven cleaner worked better than what I have in my parts cleaner :thumbs:

On to the master cylinder
due to the fact that I will be running disk brakes on all four corners. A duel MC with a Volvo top was in order. A big thanks goes out to Joe he took the one off of the 59 that I sold him and he was nice enough to give it back to me. I decided to go ahead and pull it apart to make sure the plungers where still in good condition, plus it really needed to be cleaned It sat around in my garage for ages.

I decided to go ahead and hit it with some chemical resistant paint. Hopefully it will withstand brake fluid getting on it. after all that is what it is for.
