For the pan I would suggest a tube frame type from Hawkeye Buggies http://www.hawkeyebuggies.com/ (Or make your own). The thing about his pans are they are flat with no hump down the middle. This leaves lots of room for different types of seats(and Hydraulic pedal assemblies). With a regular pan you are limited to certain seats that are only 20" wide. Mine is a Berrien Buggy's frame which is 2" square tubing with a separate molded fiberglass floor pan that sits on top. What is great about this is being fiberglass I dont have to worry about water rusting it away. Least expensive would be a regular Beetle pan shortened and use diamondplate aluminum floors. Anyway I am sure you knew all this but thought I would put it out there.

Nice.... are you going to put Old mustang taillights on it?

Are old Mustang taillights a popular choice for dune buggy's?

If it is you also need a set like they put on the 68 Shelby with the sequential lights...You can also get the kit to do it on the earlier models.

Not really ... just a old school way of doing it back in the sixties.

What kind or type of roll bar were you thinking of using? I have a Jeep CJ-7 bar that I will be ditching in a month or so.
