Man, I miss my little sled. Can you believe John Deere made a snowmobile? It wasn't much but it was fun. Good times...

The metal pulley works, which is good because I pulled ... and pulled ... and pulled but no go. After spark check, fuel, turn key on (I've done that before  ) I finally resorted to shot or two of starting fluid. Few pops but no go.

Pull start and gravity-fed fuel can give your arm a work-out. I was just about ready to shove the sled back in the garage and head off to work when it turned over and died. After a few more pulls she roared back to life after the last ride in March.

The weather forecast is for about 8 inches of snow over the next day or so. I'll post some riding photos (maybe a video).

Thanks for the thumbs-up on the T'NT. BTW: The Bug has a car cover on it now - snow can blow into a garage when someone leaves the door half-open :x

Probably the first snow to every touch Bella :) Yes, I cleared it all off.

We had so much damn snow that I spent all last weekend snowblowing the driveway. I'll get the T'NT out this weekend. Hopefully my buddy will bring over his 1969 Arians Arrow - yep, just about every tractor company made a snowmobile in the late 60s early 70s.

Was it a Liquifire or Spitfire perhaps? I think JD started making snowmobiles in 1970 or 1971. I think the company ended production sometime in the mid-80s, perhaps 1984.

If I see any vintage John Deere sleds this winter I'll post up a photo for you.

That's a nice bass! We don't pull largemouths up through the ice. We usually go after walleye, pike, perch and smelt after dark. Nothing beats Red Bull Yagerbombs and smelt fishing - I can't wait.

Took the sled out today. Man, do we have a shit load of snow. I was pushing through 3 feet in some places. However, the sled's old track and 400 cc don't add up to a trail breaking machine :) All that deep snow really causes the old T'NT to grunt.

I'm not sure if the old Ski-Doo helmet still meets Snell guidelines. ;)

LOL!! Thanks man!!

I happened to go to Minnesota a couple years ago to pick up a Jeep that my buddy bought up there and we did some ice fishing. We caught a ton of crappie! It was definitely a good time!!

I don't know what you catch faster in those ice houses, a buzz or a lot of fish?!?!
