here's some clearer pics of the beastly brakes...i have a small package so i got to compensate with huge brakes w:pw

and I got around to finishing up the fuel rails on those gsxr throttle bodies. I used the original composite rails, drilled and tapped them and got some 5/16" barbs off ebay. German braided 7mm fuel line fits perfectly.

All thats left for those ITB's is to have the injectors flow benched, get a mounting plate made and welded onto a IDF mani(need to have my mani's shortened anyways so it shouldn't be a big deal), and get the K&N filters(they make an absolute perfect one that has the right spacing, diameter holes, and is only 3" tall)

yesterday I decided to have some fun with speedo's, lol.

my collection of early type 3 speedo's
Image

and just like Voltron, they combined to make one badass speedo

My heads are on their way to Rimco, hopefully today or tomorrow morning my internals will be back from the machine shop(balance and the crank polished). I'm going to concentrate on completely the motor build before I too involved with the suspension/tranny/brakes/sunroof/paint....

On a serious note- I have no desire to join a VW club if I have to walk on egg shells to keep from offending some of the more sensitive members. I am who I am, I'm opinionated and a bit of an asshole. If someone has a problem with what i say or post be a man and go offline and let me know that I upset you, I'm sure we can work things out like adults. Making a public rant is pretty damn childish. If thats how DLK is then I might be better off remaining on lone wolf status. If this pisses you off then :redguy: lol. Rant over.
