This is what I took for a partial trade for the Porsche.
From my reaserch it is a X-0054 Dune Buggy.

Fairly complete car. It needs to have the floor pans welded in. It has been box framed and the PO was going to use sheet metal to make a floor. Its a solid job so far. It is based on a '67 beetle. His Uncle was the original owner....flipped the car....yadda yadda yadda.....made a dune buggy. It has alot of new parts for it too. New Brakes. Front end has Chirco reconditioned trailing arms with new ball joints and beam seals. I just need to install adjusters so I can slam this bitch to the ground. '67 tranny and a '67 H code motor are on the car. It was parked under a carport in '91 and was forgot about. The motor is locked up from what appears to be rusted rings. No water in the oil. It has wheel adapters for the Chevy bolt pattern and steel Chevy rims. Tow bar included in the sale.....

As I said, I am going to slam it to the ground. I really like the BTR rims. 4" in front and 7" in the rear. I'll prolly chop the windshiled down. Pretty sure its not going to get the wipers reinstalled....Loud exhaust, etc etc......

These pics are from the PO. The car is currently dissasembled and in boxes.

So now you're part of the "not"-famous '67 club?

I'm glad you found a home for the 914 but I personally would rather have a 914 then a dune buggy...no offense to the buggy peeps.
