Not sure if I want to drive it that far though....since it hasn't been driven in 2+ years..

Thats weaksause chuck, once we go through it then car should be good to go, plus you have a full month to get it completely sorted out.

btw- my parts car notch has been parked for 20 years and i'm going to make the trek.

Find someone driving a truck to the classic to bring a type 3 towbar with them. In case your car breaks. Otherwise, you be in business :dance:

Bo: All T3 towbars are custom. and they arent that easy to use on a lowered VW.

But seriously, If you give the car a good shake down in a month, the chances of it breaking while maintaining a constant rpm over 5 hours is unlikely. Pack spare cables and a scissor jack. If you were to break down, how many people would pull over to lend a hand? Alot! No one left behind!

Ya my notch isn't that low and the beam is maybe an 1.5" from the ground, even closer if my front tire is flat :hillbilly:
