but if I mess it up it will cost me for a new headliner and then to pay to install it anyway, if they mess it up they buy a new headliner and install it for me. one time fee for a nice headliner.....and besides Candi has lots of money

Pat & I did one in the early 90's for my daughters VW that turned out pretty good. Go for it Doug.

If it was any other material other than mohair and not a ragtop then yeah we would try it ourselves. And being we are on a deadline for fredericksburg, I would hate for us to screw it up and have to order another one.

I never thought about it being mohair. I would have a profesional do it also.

especially since I had a hard time installing my new headlights.....the passenger side was real tight and I cracked the glass putting it on....but had the originals and they cleaned up pretty well.
I hope to have an engine in her tomorrow and possibly have the popouts installed if I am lucky I can get the wiring "ryanfied"
