I need to lap the cylinders into them, and clean them up, then they should be ready to rock and roll. Those heads also got the ports for the PCV system, I got a little trick where I use the exhaust to make a crankcase evacuation setup, should be worth a few horsies.

I like that Mike, opens up a ton of room to get to the motor. Is that your notch?

They are doing a good job with that engine bay. I wonder if they are going to extend a notch engine lid or a regular engine lid.

I just got back from having my injectors cleaned and flow tested. They really needed that...168cc@ 30psi(stock fuel pressure) and 201@43.5psi.

From Wolfsburg with love-

Image

its very interesting:

made on 5 july 1965
L360 Sea Blue
interior was grey leatherette
no options
and country of destination was Frankfurt, W Germany

so my guess is that its a 1500 N model, and a PO at some point must have had it imported to the states, more then likely a service member.

I have began my motor assembly, easy does it. I am in not rush, this thing will be at fredericksburg.
