I'm using permatex head gasket sealant http://www.permatex.com/products/automo ... mpound.htm, ya its a type 4 thing. They originally have "head gaskets", I left them out to raise my compression a little, i'm also running cylinder shimless for the same reason(also as per the volkswagen bulletin). BTW, my valves measure around .477" intake valve lift and .444" exhaust valve lift....giggity.

Worst comes to worst I'll just make one pushrod a different length and mark it, no biggie. Tomorrow I'll finish up the geometry and try to figure out how all the tin goes on, talk about a jigsaw puzzle, luckily the bentley has some detailed drawings. Its looking like friday I'll be breaking the cam in

all thats left is to drag it next to the notch, finish up the wiring and pour some tiger's blood (Brad Penn break in oil) in it. Wish me luck guys.

PS: On a very sad note Russ Wolfe passed away today, he helped me alot with this build so I'm dedicating it to him. RIP Russ, your already missed :(
