towards the front of the sunroof there are some decent sized holes rusted through the sunroof, I guess I can give it a try, see if my neighbor know how to do that hammering technique while using torches to get a really smooth weld, if not maybe a bunch of people can get together just to have some practice time with it.

did you puddle weld your pans or did you stitch weld them.

I plug welded them in. I will do it a little differnetly with the car that I am working on now, in that I will do the plug welds, but then I am also going to run a continous weld along the tunnel.

if the roof can be fixed then that make me a happy, as far as your puddle weld, did you start on one side like slammerd or in the center working out.

i always start at the middle and work out. but ive done it the other way.

I will tell you that i am way better at ARC welding than Mig. I weld on my Concrete tools all the time but most of that is 1/4 inch steel my 110 wont weld to that it doesnt get hot enough maybe with a tank it would.

I have a lincoln weldpack (not sure on the size) it's a 110 not 220 and it claims that with flux core you can weld up to 1/4 inch, I would like to get my hands on an arc that could dip to 70 or below so I could hook up the Eastwood spotweld gun, no drilling, punching, or any of that shit, just a nice spot weld (or so I am told) what are you welding concrete tool for

this tool is good for more then one project (maybe two and a half) and if some of the members could get some use out of it before it quit, broke, or whatever then it was definitely worth the price.
