Anyone gonna go to Austin and check out the Lonestar Rod & Kustom Roundup this weekend?

No VW's, but it's quite an exhibition of traditional rods, rat rods, vintage drag racers, and a big swap area.... oh... and a little bit of partying and music, too! I've heard they're expecting 1200+ cars.

It was the same weekend as the Tx Classic in 2009. We drove over that year, but only had an hour or two to spare. We were pretty much overwhelmed at the number and quality of the cars. We only got to see a small fraction of the show. This time we're gonna spend the whole dam weekend out there.

It would rock to be able to tear away and go to this!! Great show

I know Tommie , Myself (Scott), Gary (Mean Machine), Martin (ZP), Pecos & a few others from North and South Austin will be there.
Don't forget to go to South Congress near the Continental Club the cars will be cruising like its Westimer in the 80's but with old cars.

I want to go but my car will be in the interior shop. Maybe next year I'll roll down there.
