I just drove it around the dead-end by my house. I'm going to put the plates on her and take her for a drive, hot damn its going to the classic!

so I took her all around La Marque, I would have gone onto the freeway but I frogot to bolt the rear fenders down . Aside from the fast idle(friggin linkage is binding), she's a great driver. plenty of power too!

Its been on the freeway, whoohoo. Discovered a few more issues, mainly I need to go through the suspension/steering. this thing is a handful. I'm about to pull apart the throttle body/tps and try and find the binding. Also because of the idle I got some nasty wheel hop, so i got to check the front tranny mount and re-adjust the shifter. Its a friggin hoop-tee but its back on the road

I heard it was on a rollback so it can make it back home.

Almost, I had a helleva time shifting towards the end of my little jont.

That must be exciting! Can't wait to see/hear it. When are you going to go on longer road tests?

If I get enough sorted wednesday then i'm taking it up to huntsville thursday, thats a big if. otherwise next week, I want one huntsville run before driving it up to fredricksburg.
