What did DALLAS do to their Vdubs Today?

Pulled engine from my buggy,Rats had a nest inside fan shroud on top of cylinders.No pics,but it was nasty.I think I`ll go through the whole engine.

I have the same brand tires,I definitely like it :thumbs:

I definitely need to lower my front some more,since I am running the same size fronts.

Then need to roll that one fender,and it should be a winner for my car! :thumbs:

I do have some plans switch to a set of DRLA 40s from the IDF's I have now.. but that is just when I get
around to it..

There should be a what have you done to OTHERS Vdubs today.. I could fill that up quickly! :mrgreen:

I like the yellow lettering on those tires for sure!!

Fixed

Sweet -- coming out of the past week..
Built motor for buggy-
removed motor from bus-
installed "loaner motor" in said bus-
rebuilt distributor for friend-
tuned motor for friend-
partied like a rock star with DLK in Fburg :hillbilly:

took apart motor removed from bus-
ordered parts-
took apart next inline to be gone through motor-
prepped carbs for my motor-
cleaned and inspected parts from the bus-
parts list generated-
Parts ordered-

plus or minus from the last few weeks..
this week..
clean and inspect 2nd motor
Pull transmission from 60's bug
Pull transmission from buggy
swap the two..
install breaks on the 67
wait for Distributor to coming in rebuild-
wait for parts for bus motor-
make parts list for 2nd motor-
ignore calls for 3rd motor build

install carbs-
install MSD dist at the same time since
the carbs will be out it is easier now..
those little dealies that go on the spark plugs
for the snap on wires are not easy to pu on with the carbs
in place..

and what ever comes up..
squeezed into work-karate-preg. wife-other non VW friends etc..
