Just got the info this morning about the show..... :thumbs:

You were in our last Coolest VW contest and the next one is coming up THIS SATURDAY at CLEARLAKE VW! Saturday 5/14 from 11a-4p. It’s free to enter & free to attend. Bring as many friends as you can because, The more friends who vote for you on-site, the more likely you are to get into the top 20 cars & win part of the $4,000 cash prizes. Your friends/fam could win $100 just for voting! 1 vote per person!

$4,000 IN CASH PRIZES:
- $1,000 to the Coolest Air-Cooled VW & $1,000 to the Coolest Water-Cooled VW,

- $500 2nd place for each air & water-cooled

- $250 3rd place for each air & water-cooled.

- Plus, $500 random cash drawing open to all voters (you can vote for your own car of course & thus eligible for the 5 $100 cash drawings too)

Location: Clearlake Volkswagen 15100 Gulf Freeway 77034 (I-45 South & Dixie Farm Rd)

Dates & Times: Saturday May 14th

· 11am - Cars need to show up by 11am

· 1:30pm –FREE FOOD from Chick-fil-A, Freebird’s World Burrito & James Coney island, Free Muscle Milk & vitaminwater and live music from Big Richard!

· 2-3pm Listener Voting takes places. 1 vote per person. Of those who vote (it’s free), 5 lucky listeners will win $100 each!

· 3-3:45pm Judges Voting on the top 20.

§ Top 20 cars (10 water & 10 air-cooled) in the final judging round done by Clearlake VW Staff.

· 3:50pm Awards.

Parking: Lots of free parking.

too bad i don'y have any friend and my car isn't cool cause daddy could use a $1000 prize. free registration and free lunch...why can't all shows be like that? after the clearlake shindig i'm going to cruise over to the kemah show if anybody wants to join me. :dance:
