I'll be there, in my truck or in a rental...

Anyone have the new empi BRM's? what are you using for lugs? I have the studs that are really too long and go into the drums too far. I'd like to use lug bolts, maybe BMW?

I have a feeling that you will have to grind down the lugs. I pulled my drums off, mounted the BRM,s on the drums and then ground off anything that stuck out past the drum. This way your threads will still work.

I started to do that, but what a PITA. Not to mention, pulling the lugs out afterwards if need be, will fuck the threads up. Just need to find the right lug bolts. Discount tire has conical seat lug bolts, but nothing short enough

As far as screwing up the threads goes, I did it on all 4 drums and I did not screw up any of the threads in the drum. I guess I was lucky ;) .

well, I may be sitting at home doing that then, instead of going to this show. Maybe both, but I doubt it, I want to be able to drive the oval to the Monument show
