Doesnt apply to Antique registration per my local office only registering as Classic. Obviously you had no problems with yours and Ryan had no problems with his.

I had my dealer plate registered to my car just before f-burg. If it is registered as a antique it can still be done, not so with just registering as a classic. They looked the dealer plate up in the book and it was in there, she then asked if I was a dealer and I said no. They called the main office in Conroe and then the state and they said it was fine because it was registered as an antique. At any minute I thought they were going to get tired of it and just say no but they didnt. After all that she asked me where the second one was and we had to go through it all again. :D

Ryan- that sounds like exactly what I went through. First they took my plates into the back to get a OK from the supervisor, then she looked it up in a book, then she called the main office. All the while I was hoping she wouldn't give up and say "sorry you can't do that". The lady I had was a trooper and stuck with it.

started on getting the filthy nasty tranny out.

The hubs didn't want to come off bet it has been a long time since they have been off. used my pickle fork to hold the hub in place.

funny thing though I was still lifting the car off the jack stands. But as I have said before I have never had a hub that I could not get off. nice cob webs

Both drums are shot. passenger side is the worse it has some nasty groves in it. I already have the tranny loose just have to unhook the shift coupler. So after lunch I should have it out in no time. then its on to cleaning the package tray and frame horns.
