Chuck, I know your going to be jealous of this.

I just bought a aussie 1500 ign switch and the surround bits. I'm pretty sure i'll be able to make this ish work.

So I got a lil busy on the notch today, fixed the e-brake and the exhaust leak. I'm proud to report the fugly notch is back on driver status...giggity!

I hillbillied :hillbilly: the wrong lengthed ebrake cable and now it works awesome. While I was doing that the heater delete pipes that I ordered 2.5 weeks ago showed up. I had heard that fitment and QC were issues with these things so I had a junk head and 3lb hammer on standby to make them work. Trial fitted them on the junk head and they both fit like a glove, never needed the hammer. Eliot you'll like this...gave them a light coat of POR20 so they won't rust till I get them coated. Install was drama-free. Now my header hangs a cunt hair lower and to the back, fixed all my issues with apron clearance...exactly how I wanted it. The flanges are nice and thick, and the welds look good.

can you spot the exhaust leak?

I took it out on a drive and let the auto-tuner do it's thing. Wow this thing is a great driver now. I shimmed my bowden tube, put oil shocks on the front, and the electrical is completely sorted. I am completely in love with this notch. I still a few big things in the works: aussie ignition switch, magnaflow muffler, 3.75" drop spindles, and rear shocks.

does the aussie ignition switch turn to the left instead of the normal american right turning ignition switch?
