Didn't get as much done today as I thought I would.

got the MC ready to go back in

hardest part was to get the clip back in until I thought of a way to get it in my vise.

the Volvo cap is old and doesn't look very pretty but I figure it will do their are no cracks

Got the wiper motor cleaned painted and ready to go back in.

That wiper setup looks like mine. I did the same thing awhile back. Did you replace any o-rings in MC ?

no they where in good condition. just took it apart to clean and paint.

got the old harness out.

while prepping the new harness, I got to thinking it would be a good time to run extra wires for tach and temp gauges. So for the past couple of hours I have been trying to decide what gauges I want to run.

taping lose wires so they do not snag on there way back.

so now to decide what tach and gauges to run.

i had to run 2 wires from the megasquirt to the dash for my tach. While I was building the harness I just added 5 more wires for "future expansion", aka gauges. Ethan, just add a bunch of wires then you can decide later what you want to add. I'm liking the progress :thumbs:
