On top of that -I found a 66 and 67 15window bus for cheap .. and a 58/59single cab out in a field..
walked with flops some 1/8th mile through catcus to see how to get that bad boy out of the cedar trees in a 100+ degree weather.. I say air lifting would be the way to go.. but we'll probably tow it with a 4wheeler or something :)

I need a big shop and storage lot that's for sure!! Oh and a winning lottery ticket.. that would be perfect!! ;)

We pulled the motor out of the Duplicab today to figure out what was wrong with the clutch. Turns out the pressure plate was collapsed. The end play was a little lose so we brought it back in spec. We installed a new pressure plate and throwout bearing and put her back together. One of the pressure plate bolts broke with less than 10lbs pressure... We got it extracted and got it all back together. We Adjusted valves, set timing, and adjusted the carb. She seems to be running pretty good now  Thanks Mike, and Scotty for the help

Awesome work guys. Chuck told me it had a "weird" clutch, you guys found the smoking gun and fixed her up. Ya that DC is badass

I actually did something today....I ordered some parts from Airkewld. I've been collecting an assortment of parts, but haven't had time to install them. Plus, I'm currently under the debate of tearing the whole car down and getting it fixed right. I was talking to Eliot about this earlier this month. However, I can't really do shit until I source the correct nose cone for my tranny. Which is the main reason why I haven't even tried to start the motor and drive it since we put in a new clutch months and months ago.
...stupid, I know. I hold my head in shame.... :?

Anyway, I'm open to any thoughts/criticism regarding the parts below. I'm always open to another pair of eyes..

....other than the fact that it's Airkewld.. I know, Eliot, I know! ....but damn he has some good lookin' shiznit! ...and he's been workin' hard to repair his image...... or bottom line, he's an Az boy and I can't discount that!??! w:pw

Looks like cool stuff to me  I actually bought one of the Six Shooter Clutch Cable Nutz myself. I want to see how it works. I'm cool with Pete now. He worked to make our issue right

After 3 years of driving around without seatbelts, and my wife getting on me about it, finally started installing them. Driver side done and passenger half done, ran out of light.

Now my commute will " be that much safer" says my wife.... :D
