Progress made. The tear down started tonight. Hope to have the body off by the end of the weekend!

One of the female sockets on the body for the fender bolt was stripped out and fell into the body. Can I get that out!!?? Do I need to weld a new one in?

Extra picture of a treat that will go in on the build!

Clay,

If it were me, I'd leave the doors on. Or at least weld up some braces to prevent any flex if the heater channels are are bad.

Good to know about the insert! I did not see any rust when I was putting the interior in when i first got the car, but I will leave the doors in just to be safe. Yes, I am going for a full repaint.

Good job on starting the tear down.

How about getting your camera programed for the proper date so it is not off over half a decade! :hillbilly:
