I have a bit of a dilemma with the 63. I cannot get the doors on that thing to budge. The hinges are frozen solid. I hate to heat them up and risk messing up the surrounding paint. Any suggestions?

Soak them in some of this stuff http://www.kanolabs.com/ if Kroil can't do it then heat is your only other option. I learned about this stuff when I was in the Navy (extreme corrosive environment)

I was able to get the passenger side door open and working well but the drivers side was another story. I had to cut the hinges off in order to get the door off of the car. :(

Guess i am in the market for some drivers side door hinges. Any one have any? Just need the half that bolts to the car. :help:

Think I have made up my mind. I am going to be selling the vert. I don't have enough room for two projects and the vert needs the most work so it is going to be leaving. I think i am gong to keep a few parts off of it before I sell. Here are a few pictures of the other car. Got to spend a bit of time in the garage today. Managed to get both doors removed, no striped hinge bolts :D Also, I got it out of the garage and was able to wash all of the dirt out of it. It is going to need both pans, which I conveniently have.

I was surprised to find the nose in perfect condition.

There is a bit of work needed on the drivers side heater channel. The rust was caused by years of dirt sitting in that spot and the door being open slightly. Nothing major.
